TIMING:
Freezing rain will arrive Friday night and transition to rain Saturday afternoon.
Steadier precipitation moves in for the afternoon and evening hours, but at the same time, temperatures are expected to climb above freezing leading to a very cold rain for the second half of the day.
IMPACTS:
These freezing rain showers will be light and scattered, but could still lead to a glaze to .1″ of ice across the Miami Valley.
This amount of ice likely won’t cause power outages, but slick sidewalks, porches, walkways, and even some bridges and overpasses are possible.
