Amazon driver accused of stealing over 40 packages, selling items online

HAMILTON COUNTY — An Amazon driver is accused of stealing dozens of packages from an Ohio fulfillment center and selling them on Facebook Marketplace.

Elghadi Kah has been charged with theft without consent after reportedly stealing 44 packages worth a collective $3,265.

Springdale police wrote in records obtained by our news partners at WCPO that an Amazon loss prevention specialist contacted them to report an employee theft. She said she received information about items never delivered on a route associated with Kah.

The specialist found a video of Kah driving to the fulfillment center in Hamilton County, grabbing a cart with packages, and leaving.

The company’s employee tracking program shows Kah went directly to his home, WCPO reported.

The woman also found Kah selling items on Facebook Marketplace. The items matched the items in the stolen packages.
