CLINTON COUNTY — A driver was stopped for going at least 30 mph over the speed limit last week in Ohio.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) said a trooper from their Wilmington Post stopped a driver for going almost 100 mph on State Route 73 in Clinton County, according to a social media post.

The driver got clocked for traveling 98 mph in a 65-mph speed zone.
OSHP said on its Facebook page troopers have issued almost 7,700 speed citations in 2025.
They are asking drivers to, “Slow Down.”
