FAIRFILED — Three men were arrested after they shoplifted at Jungle Jim’s last week.

On Thursday, Jan. 23 around 7:14 p.m. officers with the Fairfield Police Department were dispatched to Jungle Jim’s on reports of three men shoplifting.

The men were confronted by Loss Prevention and police officers, according to a Facebook post from the department.
During the walk back to the Loss Prevention office, one of the men tried to run away but was caught by one of the officers.
While the officer and the man struggled, an extended magazine fell out of the man’s coat pocket,
During a search, a firearm was recovered on the man. All three were charged appropriately.
“These are just some of the dangers officers are facing these days. Awesome work by everyone involved!” the post read.
