An officer attempted to stop a black Jeep Grand Cherokee just after 7 p.m. Thursday night.
As he tried to catch up, the Jeep went left-of-center and hit two other vehicles at the intersection of Old Troy Pike and Taylorsville Road, according to Huber Heights Police Sgt. Josh Fosnight.

It continued north before hitting a utility pole on the west side of Old Troy Pike.
The Jeep broke the pole and caused a nearby business to lose power, Sgt. Fosnight said.
Police identified the driver as a 16-year-old girl. She was taken to Dayton Children’s and then to Juvenile Detention Center on Failure to Comply charges.
A juvenile passenger was also in the Jeep. Medics transported her to an area hospital. Sgt Fosnight said she was alert and conscious.
AES Ohio was called to repair the pole.
