BROWN COUNTY — A person is dead and two are injured after a head-on crash involving a school bus Sunday night.

State troopers from the Wilmington Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) responded just before 7:40 p.m. to initial reports of a crash on State Route 32 and Stieman Road, OSHP dispatchers told our news partner WCPO in Cincinnati.

Upon arrival, state troopers found that a Mazda drove over the median and hit a Western Brown Local School District bus head-on, WCPO said.
The Mazda driver was pronounced dead at the scene, OSHP told WCPO.
Medics transported two people from the school bus to an area hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
