Former Dayton Flyer Jordan Sibert will play in TBT for Red Scare

DAYTON — The University of Dayton alumni team, Red Scare, announced Wednesday that former Dayton Flyer guard Jordan Sibert will return to its roster in the The Basketball Tournament (TBT).

He joins a list of former Flyers including Josh Cunningham, Darrell Davis, Trey Landers, Ryan Mikesell, Vee Sanford and Scoochie Smith.

Sibert transferred to UD from Ohio State and scored over 1,000 points in his two seasons with the Flyers (2013-15). He was named team MVP his senior year (2014-15).

Sibert’s career at UD Arena was bookmarked by two of the most memorable shots in UD Arena history. In his very first game as a Flyer, he hit the game winning three-pointer against IPFW and his last game at the UD Arena against Boise State in the First Four, he hit what ended up being the game-winner.

Sibert also helped lead Dayton to NCAA Tournament wins in his two seasons, including an Elite Eight appearance in 2014 and a Third Round appearance in 2015.

Tickets are now on sale for the TBT games in Dayton. The dates are July 24, 26 and 27 and July 29-31 and the championship game is August 2nd. For more TBT ticket information, visit this website or call the UD Arena Ticket Office at (937) 229-4433.
