NEW YORK — Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb has been announced as a finalist for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, the NFL announced Thursday.

He is one of eight finalists for the award, including four from each conference.
The other AFC finalists include Baltimore defensive end Calais Campbell, defensive end Maxx Crosby from Las Vegas and Houston defensive end Jerry Hughes.
The NFC finalists are Tampa Bay linebacker Lavonte David, Minnesota running back Dalvin Cook, Green Bay running back Aaron Jones and San Francisco fullback Kyle Juszczyk.
“It’s been a pleasure to read and learn about this year’s nominees for the Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award who are displaying the characteristics of his legacy and truly showing what it means to continue to live it out,” said Warrick Dunn, a panelist from the NFL Legends Community that selected the eight finalists. “The Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award represents teamwork, competitiveness, hard work and integrity, while on the field.”
The award was created in 2014 in honor of the late founding owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pro Football Hall of Famer Art Rooney, Senior.
It’s marks the fourth straight year Chubb has been the Browns’ nominee for the award.
The winner will be announced at the NFL Honors ceremony and receive a $25,000 donation from the NFL Foundation to the charity of their choosing.
