Costs for trip to Kansas City to see Sunday’s Bengals-Chiefs AFC Championship game

CINCINNATI — If Cincinnati Bengals fans are looking for tickets to Sunday night’s AFC Championship game in Kansas City, expect to pay more than last weekend’s game in Buffalo, according to our news partner WCPO in Cincinnati.

The Bengals will play the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium with a bid to the upcoming Super Bowl at stake.

Tickets to the game will start at about $338 on Stubhub, $318 on Vividseats, $305 on SeatGeek, and $414 on 333-Seat.

It’s about $150 higher than the Bengals-Bills game, WCPO reported.

At Ticketmaster, prices for Verified resale seats were starting around $450, for very upper level seats.

Expect to pay close to $1,000 for lower level seats, with some 50-yard line seats going for as much $3,000 on StubHub, WCPO said.

The lowest price for hotels less than a mile from Arrowhead Stadium went as low as $355, according to the website, Hotels.com.

The cheapest for a hotel overall went for $90 that was 3.5 miles from the stadium, Hotels.com reported.

If you are driving to Kansas City, it takes less than nine hours, eight hours 52 minutes, to get from Dayton to Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, according to Google Maps.

This includes traveling west on Interstate 70 driving through Indianapolis, Indiana and St. Louis, Missouri.

The total cost for gasoline can cost about $152.37 roundtrip from Dayton to Kansas City, according to the website, FlyvsDrive.com.

The cheapest airfare for a roundtrip ticket from Dayton to Kansas City will cost about $209, FlyvsDrive.com reports.

For anyone not traveling to Kansas City, the Bengals-Chiefs AFC Championship Game will be televised on Channel 7.

News Center 7 will have coverage of the Bengals and Chiefs leading up to kickoff.

This includes the Orange Zone Sunday morning, January 29, at 11:30 a.m. with John Bedell and Larry Hansgen.

News Center 7′s Brandon Lewis will provide live coverage from Kansas City.

Kickoff between the Bengals and Chiefs will be at 6:30 p.m.

The winner advances to the Super Bowl to play either San Francisco or Philadelphia on February 12 in Glendale, Arizona in Super Bowl XLVII.
