Water main repairs causing a detour for eastbound traffic on W. Dorothy Lane in Kettering

KETTERING — Repair work on a broken water main is affecting traffic on a section of eastbound Dorothy Lane in Kettering, so you’ll be asked to detour at least for the next few hours, city Community Information Manager Mary Azbill said Friday.

The work being done on West Dorothy, east of Southern Boulevard, will affect eastbound traffic.

Here’s the detour for eastbound travelers:

◊ Turn right on Southern Boulevard

◊ Take a left on Stroop Road

◊ Then take a left on Far Hills Avenue.

Crews are anticipating that the work will take several hours.

When the project is completed, traffic on West Dorothy Lane in the area of the water main work will be open to one lane - in both directions - through Wednesday (Nov. 23).
