CLARK COUNTY — A juvenile has life-threatening injuries, and another is in custody after a shooting in Clark County Saturday evening.

As reported Saturday on News Center 7 at 11:00, deputies and medics responded around 6:37 p.m. to the 4400 block of Reno Road.

Several teenagers were having a gathering when a juvenile pulled out a gun and shot another, a Clark County lieutenant told News Center 7′s Malik Patterson.
The shooter has been detained and the victim is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Patterson says neighbors are in shock after hearing about the shooting. With this being a close-knit community, many wanted to check on one another.
Photos from the scene show a house surrounded by caution tape and several sheriff’s deputy cruisers at the scene.
The shooting remains under investigation.
