2 injured after truck hits delivery driver, box truck in Clark County

BETHEL TWP., Clark County — Two people were taken to area hospitals, including one who was flown by a medical helicopter, after a pickup truck crashed into a box truck and the truck’s driver, according to state troopers.

The crash was reported on Enon Road just south of U.S. 40 in Bethel Twp. around 10:50 a.m. Tuesday.

A preliminary investigation found the driver of a Dodge pickup truck crashed into the back of a box truck parked on Enon Road, a spokesperson for the Ohio State Highway Patrol told News Center 7. The pickup truck also hit the driver of the box truck.

The box truck driver was flown to an area hospital by a CareFlight medical helicopter. The driver suffered injuries described as non-life threatening, state troopers said.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken by ground ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of injuries also described as non-life threatening.

Potential factors in the crash were still under investigation and additional details were not released.
