UPDATE: Detached garage destroyed after overnight fire in Dayton

DAYTON — Emergency crews extinguished a detached garage fire in Dayton early Saturday morning.

Emergency scanner traffic reported crews responding to a fire on West Beechwood Avenue just after 4:00 a.m.

Initial reports say flames could be seen coming out of the garage.

Video from the scene shows the garage has been burnt down to the ground.

Further details have not been made available at this time.
