TIMING:

Dangerous wind chills will continue through Wednesday, according to Storm Center 7 Weather Specialist Nick Dunn.

Current data today points towards Tuesday giving a slight break from intense wind chills, but the conditions will still be dangerous with wind chills in the 0 to -15 range.

Wednesday morning still appears to present the worst cold with chills around -20 or -25 degrees possible.

IMPACTS:

Frozen pipe risks will be heightened, along with frostbite and hypothermia risks.

Covering as much exposed skin as possible will help mitigate some of the risks of frostbite, but limiting time outdoors will be the best solution if possible.

Keeping pets indoors is also a great idea.

We will continue to update this story.
