Bengals beat Chiefs 34-31, win AFC North

CINCINNATI — The Cincinnati Bengals faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs Sunday with the chance to clinch the AFC North.

Cincinnati was behind 28-17 at halftime, but rallied in the second half. With seconds left in the fourth quarter, Cincinnati’s Evan McPherson kicked the game-winning field goal, boosting the Bengals 34-31 over the Chiefs.

Joe Burrow followed up his record-breaking performance from last week with another impressive game. He threw for 446 yards and four touchdowns. Burrow broke Cincinnati’s franchise record for most touchdowns passes, as well as passing yards, in a single season.

Three of Burrow’s touchdown passes went to rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who finished the day with 266 receiving yards. That set a team record for receiving yards in a game, according to the Bengals.

The win marked Cincinnati’s 10th division title and their first since 2015. The Bengals will play in their first playoff game since 2015.
