As reported on News Center 7 at 11:00, Huber Heights Mayor Jeff Gore delivered the State of the City address Monday evening, promising expansion and growth for the community.

Gore said the city has plans for a new indoor music center, hotel and Dublin Pub along Executive Boulevard.

He anticipates that the Dublin Pub will be open by St. Patrick’s Day of 2027.

“Really, none of this would mean anything if we didn’t have the support of the community behind us,” Gore said.

Steve Tieber owns the Dublin Pub. He said the new Huber Heights location will be bigger than the one in Dayton near the Oregon District.

“We’re probably gonna be employing somewhere between 80 to 100 people. So we’re gonna be creating a lot of jobs. This is a dream come true for us,” Tieber said.

Gore said he will have more information about the hotel soon, but did confirm it will have at least 115 rooms.

He added that a $5 million tax increment financing, or TIF Bond, will fund the music center.

“There’s never been a single penny of income tax paid for The Rose and won’t be a single penny of income tax pay for the music center as well,” Gore said.

Leo Jordan has lived in Huber Heights for 20 years and has the city grow.

“I feel really good about Huber Heights. And what’s happening out there,” Jordan said. “We’re just close to anything you could possibly want. It’s right here at your fingertips.”

News Center 7’s Malik Patterson asked Gore about when the new Buc-ee’s will open. He said they are still on schedule to open Spring 2026.

News Center 7 will continue to follow this story.
