All lanes back open on EB-70 near SR-4 following multi-vehicle accidents

MAD RIVER TOWNSHIP — All lanes are back open on Eastbound Interstate 70 near State Route 4 after being closed for several hours early Thursday morning following a multi-vehicle crash.

Crews were dispatched to the area at around 2:20 a.m.

All lanes of traffic were closed for several hours on both direction of I-70, Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatchers told News Center 7.

Three commercials vehicles, including a fuel truck, were involved in the wreck on EB I-70, dispatchers told News Center 7.

There is a confirmed fuel leak with this crash and hazmat has been requested.

Two box trucks were involved in the crash on WB I-70, OSHP said.

We could not confirm if they were any injuries with these accidents.
