Campaign to raise funds for cribs, bedding for children; How you can help

DAYTON — WHIO-TV teamed up with Morris Home to help provide beds, cribs and bedding to children in the local community who are without.

On Thursday, December 15, folks with Morris Home hosted a local phone bank to help raise funds for more beds for the Hope to Dream event that will take place in 2023. The total amount of money that was raised during the 3.5-hour phone bank was $9,300.

The organization that Morris Home is partnering with is Secret Smiles of Dayton. The mission of Secret Smiles is to provide beds, cribs and bedding to children in the local community.

Since 2001, Secret Smiles has provided bedding to thousands of children through the generosity of strangers and now have a warm and secure place to sleep at night.

Secret Smiles is a 100% volunteer charity with no salaries or overhead costs. All the donations are put back into the community.
